CollectR™, made simple

Most of the series runs on one tidy loop. Here it is in four steps:

1. The birds eat gems of their own colour. Each bird sweeps up matching gems sitting next to it on the grid.
2. Upgrades raise the stakes. Level-up symbols lift a colour’s value, so the same gem can pay far more later in a round.
3. Bombs grow the board. Explosions clear space and, through the avalanche, stretch the grid toward its maximum size.
4. The meter drops the specials. Filling the collection meter queues the bigger features — and, eventually, the bonus.

Pirots X is the exception, swapping this loop for Cluster Pays, while Pirots 5 builds the same ideas into five themed worlds.
