About Us

We're an independent team focused on one slot series. ELK Studios and the casinos don't run this site, so here's what we check before publishing, what we won't claim and how the site is paid for.

What we check before publishing

We cover six games, and they share birds, interface and often the same headline numbers. That makes mix-ups easy, so every feature, trigger and price has to come from a source that names the exact part.

  1. Rules and paytable screens. The game's own screens come first, because they're what you'll see when you play.
  2. ELK Studios sheets and pages. Next come product sheets, data sheets and the official game pages.
  3. Independent reviews. We use them where the first two are silent, and the text says the figure is reported.
  4. Disagreements. If numbers still conflict, we say so on the page and leave the number out rather than guess.

Where figures differ online, each game guide says what you may see quoted and which one we use.

What we don't do

  • We don't promise wins, and we don't suggest any game or bonus mode can be beaten.
  • We don't publish invented sessions, buy tests or average returns. Where a figure comes from a tracker or a review, we say so and treat it as a sample.
  • We don't state that a casino or a feature is licensed or available in Ireland unless we have a primary source. Check the casino's own licence details.

Irish rules are changing, too. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland began remote betting licences on 1 July 2026, with gaming licences phased in afterwards, so what a casino needs may shift. We'd rather tell you that than imply a certainty we don't have.

How we make money

Buttons marked Play and the offer at the top of each page are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, the casino may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing, and it's how the site is funded.

That's a real interest, so here's where it does and doesn't touch the content. The commission decides which offer we display. It doesn't change the facts on game pages, including the parts we don't flatter, such as the low RTP versions of Pirots 5.

Names and faces on this site

Ciarán Doyle is the editorial pen name of our Pirots desk. The portraits on this site are generated images, not photographs of real people. The reviews on game pages come from readers who sent us notes on each part, first by email and then through the mailing list we ran before the site opened. We publish them with a first name and a town, show six per game at a time and count every rating received in the score. A review that names a win we can't support is left out.

Questions about us

No. We're independent of ELK Studios and of any casino. We do earn commission through affiliate links, which is how the site pays for itself.

We don't publish session stories or test results at all. Our guides are based on rules screens, paytables, ELK sheets and third-party data, and we say which is which.

Ciarán Doyle is an editorial pen name, and the portraits on this site are generated images, not photographs of real people. The reviews on game pages are reader submissions: we keep the first name and the town and replace the photo with a generated portrait.

Write to [email protected] with the page and the source. If it holds up, we correct the page and change the date on it.
