Pirots 2 at a glance
Elk Studios Pirots 2 drops four birds onto a jungle grid and pays them for collecting amber of their own colour. There are no paylines. The Pirots 2 slot starts at 6 rows by 6 columns, and a collected Red Button can push it to 8 by 8.
The setting is a prehistoric dinosaur park. The Pirots 2 roller coaster is scenery: a red car carries the birds on the Super Bonus intro, but the rules attach no feature to it.
The Pirots 2 ELK data sheet lists 94.0% RTP, volatility of 8 out of 10, a 25.4% hit frequency and a 10,000x max win. Bets run from €0.20 to €100.
For this Pirots 2 review we read the paytable and rules screens, ELK's sheets and independent reviews that name this game. We report no session results of our own. Where a source disagrees with the rules, the rules win.
Release date: 31 October or 7 November?. Some listings give 31 October 2023, others 7 November 2023. ELK's game page and sheets state no day, so we say late 2023 and leave it there.
Your first Pirots 2 round
- Load the Pirots 2 game. ELK recommends 1600x900 on desktop, or a 16:9 window.
- Open the top-left menu and read Rules and Paytable for your version.
- Set your bet with the coin stack at the bottom left, between €0.20 and €100.
- Work out your session stake first: 100 drops at €1 is €100.
- Press the large round arrow on the right to start a drop.
- Note where each bird lands and which colours touch it.
- Watch the meter above the grid for the three chests.
- Check the stone skulls beside the grid, which track bonus symbols.
- Treat X-iter as a separate decision, and read the price before you play Pirots 2 that way.
How a drop pays
A round is called a drop. Birds and symbols fall onto the grid, then each bird collects touching amber of its own colour and any feature symbol it can reach. Reviews describe the movement as horizontal or vertical, with no minimum number of stones for a payout. Each collected amber pays its current level.
Collected symbols leave the grid, the rest fall, and new ones fill the gaps. Reviews report that this repeats until nothing more can be collected, so one drop can hold several collections.
The stone bar above the grid is the symbol collection meter. ELK says all collected amber counts towards it, and a full meter awards three chests of random feature symbols. One review reports that it clears between base game spins but holds its progress in the bonus.
Amber has seven payout levels per colour, and upgrade symbols lift them. The rules set level 7 as the ceiling and describe no extra effect beyond it. A Pirots 2 big win usually needs that climb to line up with a large grid, and the game marks the bigger payouts with banners such as Big Win, Epic Win and Jurassick.
Bird swaps and three-bird fights. One review describes birds swapping places and fighting in groups of three. We find nothing like it on any in-game rules screen, so we leave it out. Check the Rules menu of your version if it matters to you.

Pirots 2 birds and colours
The Pirots 2 birds are collectors rather than paying symbols. Each takes only its own colour of amber, but any bird can pick up a feature symbol, so its position decides what a drop can reach. Popcorn, mushrooms and eggs all help a boxed-in bird by bridging gaps, recolouring neighbours or sending it to a new position.
Red birdRed amber and all feature symbolsNest, crossed bones and a small teal parrot on top. Top-paying colour.
Purple birdPurple amber and all feature symbolsFlint spear and a green leaf over one eye. Second-highest top level.
Green birdGreen amber and all feature symbolsSpotted animal skin and wide, mismatched eyes.
Blue birdBlue amber and all feature symbolsBone tied through its head feathers. Lowest top level.
Amber, coins and feature symbols
| Symbol | Name | What it does | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|---|

![]() | Green amber Gem | Levels run from a plain green bead at x0.05 to a crowned owl at x15. | It needs upgrades before it pays much. |

Pirots 2 paytable
Pay per collected symbol as a multiple of bet, read from the Symbol Payout screen. Third-party reviews report the same ranges as bet multiples.
| Amber colour | Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 3 | Level 4 | Level 5 | Level 6 | Level 7 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 0.10 | 0.25 | 0.60 | 1.00 | 3.00 | 10.00 | 50.00 | |
| 0.10 | 0.20 | 0.40 | 0.60 | 1.60 | 5.00 | 20.00 | |
| 0.05 | 0.15 | 0.30 | 0.45 | 1.20 | 3.75 | 15.00 | |
| 0.05 | 0.10 | 0.20 | 0.30 | 0.80 | 2.50 | 10.00 |

Where the value grows
The rules show no running multiplier that climbs with each collection. Value grows through amber levels instead. Red rises to 500 times its level 1 value, green to 300 times, and purple and blue to 200 times. The step from level 6 to level 7 is the largest in every colour.
Coins sit outside that ladder and pay face value times your active bet. Wilds follow it, paying at the current level of the colour collected.
| Source | Value | How it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Amber level | x0.05 to x50 | Paid per collected symbol, by colour and level |
| Upgrade | +1 to +3 levels | Raises one colour, up to level 7 |
| Upgrade All | +1 to +3 levels | Raises all four colours, up to level 7 |
| Coin | Up to 1,000x bet (as reported in reviews) | Paid when collected. Game screens show faces such as 5x, 25x and 500x. |
| MAX WIN Coin | Remainder of 10,000x | Paid immediately when collected |
What each symbol triggers
| Feature | Trigger | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Symbol collection meter | Collected amber fills the bar | A full meter awards three chests of random feature symbols, which one review says land at random positions. |
| Upgrade | Bird collects a grey arrowhead | One colour rises 1 to 3 levels. One review reads that as the collecting bird's colour. |
| Upgrade All | Bird collects a rainbow arrowhead | All four colours rise together by 1 to 3 levels, up to level 7. |
| Wild | Bird collects the gold W | Substitutes at the colour's current level. Some reviews report it can serve more than one bird. |
| Coin | Bird collects a gold coin | Pays the coin's face value times the active bet. |
| MAX WIN Coin | Bird collects the crowned coin | Immediately pays the amount left to reach the maximum win. |
| Red Button and meteor | Bird collects the DON'T PRESS button | A meteor explodes symbols and expands the grid, up to 8 by 8. One review says each strike adds one row and one column. |
| Egg | Bird collects an egg | A dinosaur hatches at the end of the round and scares the birds, so they redrop into new positions. |
| Popcorn | Bird collects the POP tub | Empty positions fill with popcorn, and birds may cross each one once to reach more symbols. |
| Mushroom transform | Bird collects the mushroom | A group of amber beside the bird takes its colour, and some amber may become feature symbols. |

Pirots 2 Bonus and Super Bonus
The Pirots 2 bonus is the free drops game, this slot's version of free spins. Three bonus symbols collected in one round trigger it. Reviews report 5 starting drops, and one adds that three more bonus symbols give +5 drops.
The rules list what carries through: grid size, meter progress, amber levels and further bonus symbols. That is why a free drop is worth more than a normal one, because upgrades keep counting until the drops run out.
The Pirots 2 Super Bonus is the 500x X-iter mode, and we found no natural trigger for it in the rules. Its intro shows the same 5 free drops. The in-game panel promises the maximum grid and upgrade symbols that upgrade all amber. It does not promise pre-upgraded amber, and ELK's intro screenshot shows plain low-level beads, so the levels still have to be earned.
Pirots 2 Bonus vs Super Bonus
| Bonus | Super Bonus | |
|---|---|---|
| How it starts | Three bonus symbols collected in one round | X-iter, no natural trigger in the rules |
| X-iter price | 100x bet | 500x bet |
| Free drops | 5, per reviews | 5, on the intro screen |
| Grid at the start | The size you had at trigger | Maximum grid, 8x8 |
| Upgrade symbols | Normal Upgrade rules | Upgrade symbols upgrade all amber |
| Carried between drops | Grid size, meter, amber levels, further bonus symbols | Grid size, meter, amber levels, further bonus symbols |
Is the Super Bonus sticky and progressive?. ELK's game page wording, copied by a few listings, speaks of progressive, sticky multipliers. The in-game X-iter panel talks about the maximum grid and upgrade symbols that upgrade all amber. We follow the panel, because no rules screen mentions sticky multipliers.
Does the grid grow during free drops?. One review says the grid does not expand in free drops. The in-game rules say grid size carries through the bonus. We state that it persists and make no claim about further growth.

X-iter modes and prices
X-iter sits behind the blue tab on the left and covers what people search for as the Pirots 2 bonus buy. Prices are multiples of your active bet: €3, €10, €25, €100 and €500 at €1. Availability depends on the casino and jurisdiction, so check the game lobby.
A few reviews report that RTP stays at 94% across the modes, while ELK prints a single RTP figure. That is no promise of a return. A price paid can be lost in full.
| Mode | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Bonus Hunt | 3x bet | More than three times the chance to trigger the bonus, per ELK. |
| Popcorn Fiesta | 10x bet | One drop with popcorn active, per a few reviews. |
| Maximum Grid Size | 25x bet | One drop on 8x8, per third-party listings. The in-game tile shows arrows, no name. |
| Bonus Game | 100x bet | Entry to the free drops game. |
| Super Bonus | 500x bet | One drop with guaranteed entry to the Super Bonus game, on the maximum grid. |
Does the Super Bonus start at level 7?. One review says every amber colour begins at level 7. The in-game panel says upgrade symbols raise all amber during play, and ELK's intro screen shows low-level beads. We do not claim a level 7 start.
Bonus Hunt: three times or four times?. ELK says Bonus Hunt gives more than three times the chance of the bonus, while several reviews round it to about four times. One review also mixes up its price, quoting 10x in the text and 3x elsewhere. We use ELK's wording and the 3x shown in the game.
What the 25x mode really does. Three listings say one drop on the 8x8 grid, and one says it only expands the grid by a size. The in-game tile shows arrows and no name, and no rules screen we hold explains it. We report 8x8 as third-party information, not as a rule.

Play the demo
The Pirots 2 demo uses play credits, so Pirots 2 free play costs nothing and pays nothing out. One listing says demo and real-money play share the same RNG and mechanics. A demo Pirots 2 session is a cheap way to learn how the birds move and how upgrades build.
Demo results do not predict real-money play. Treat a Pirots 2 free demo as a rules lesson, not a forecast.
A Pirots 2 free host may hide X-iter, because that menu depends on the casino and jurisdiction. Check the Rules screen on the version you loaded.
If the Pirots 2 slot demo will not load, start with the browser. ELK's data sheet says the game uses canvas and WebGL and adapts to desktop, tablet and mobile, so enable hardware acceleration, update the browser and turn off script blockers for the page.
Pirots 2 RTP and volatility
The Pirots 2 RTP is 94.0% on both ELK sheets, and one listing calls that lower than average. To check your version, open the top-left menu and go to Rules in the loaded game.
ELK rates volatility 8 out of 10, which listings label high, while one review says very high. ELK's 25.4% hit frequency means about one winning drop in four.
RTP is a long-run average across a huge number of rounds, and much of it sits in rare events such as a fully upgraded grid. A session can feel far below 94% with nothing wrong. One review's 1,000-spin run at €0.20 ended €47.75 down, and that is one small sample.
High, very high or medium-to-high?. ELK rates volatility 8 out of 10. Listings call it high, one review says very high, and one lists medium-to-high. We use ELK's rating and label it high.
Pirots 2 strengths and limits
What works
- Seven amber levels give each round a visible arc.
- Popcorn and eggs give stuck birds another route.
- Grid size, meter and amber levels persist in the bonus.
- ELK publishes its hit frequency, so you can judge the rhythm from a primary source.
What to watch
- 94.0% RTP is low.
- Low amber levels pay very little, so rounds without upgrades feel thin.
- The Super Bonus costs €100 even at the minimum bet.
- X-iter may not appear in your lobby.
Pirots 2 reviews from players in Ireland
Popcorn saved a dead round
Had a purple bird stuck in a corner with nothing to collect, then the popcorn filled the gaps and it walked straight across to three amber. First time the mechanic clicked for me.
Verified playerSeven levels give it a story
Every round has a build to it. Upgrade the red amber twice and the same grid pays five times more. I play at 40 cent and still see upgrades most sessions.
Verified playerEggs are annoying but fair
The dinosaur hatching at the end of a round throws the birds back out, which killed a good position twice in one evening. Still enjoy it, just know that it happens.
Verified playerMeteor on the first drop
Red Button hit on my first paid round and the grid jumped to 8x8 before I had read the rules. Downloaded nothing, just the browser demo here, then the real version.
Verified playerThe paytable here matches the game
Checked the amber table on this page against the Symbol Payout screen in the game and every figure matched. That is rarer than it should be. Playing it on an iPhone, no issues.
Verified playerSuper Bonus is a lot of money
500x means €100 at the minimum bet, which is more than most people will want to spend on one drop. I tried it once, it was fun, it was not worth it. Bonus Hunt at 3x is my limit now.

Pirots 2 and its neighbours
- Starting grid: 6x6 here, 5x5 in Pirots (ELK game pages).
- Collectibles and setting: amber in a prehistoric jungle here, gems with seagoing pirate birds in Pirots (ELK game pages).
- Feature set: ELK lists eight types here, adding popcorn and redrops, against six in Pirots.
- X-iter: the 10x mode here is Popcorn Fiesta, where third-party listings show Feature Bonanza at 10x for Pirots.
Our honest read
Pirots 2 is a clever collecting game with a clear ladder to climb. Popcorn and the egg redrop add real movement, and the persistent bonus is where the design makes the most sense.
The maths ask for patience. At 94.0% RTP and high volatility, expect long stretches at low amber levels, and treat 10,000x as a ceiling rather than a plan. Try the demo first, and price any X-iter mode as money you can lose in full.
Pirots 2 questions answered
Pirots 2 starts at 6x6, where ELK lists Pirots at 5x5. It swaps a seagoing pirate setting for a prehistoric jungle, and amber replaces gems. ELK lists eight feature types here against six for Pirots, adding popcorn and redrops.
The Red Button calls a meteor that explodes symbols and expands the grid, up to 8x8. The egg hatches a dinosaur at the end of the round, and the birds redrop. Popcorn lets birds cross empty positions once each. The mushroom recolours nearby amber and may create feature symbols.
Upgrade symbols raise one colour or all four by 1 to 3 steps. Level 7 is the maximum, and the rules describe nothing beyond it, so further upgrades add no value we can find.
ELK publishes no payback figure for it, and we did not measure one. Some reviews report RTP stays at 94% across X-iter. If so, the long-run average is about 470x on a 500x price, which is below cost. Single buys can land far from that, and the price can be lost in full.
It immediately pays what remains to reach 10,000x your bet: €2,000 at €0.20, or €1,000,000 at €100. Some reviews report that the round ends once the cap is reached.
At €0.20, Bonus Hunt costs €0.60, Popcorn Fiesta €2, Maximum Grid Size €5, Bonus Game €20 and Super Bonus €100. Availability depends on the casino and jurisdiction, so check the game lobby.
We name no sites. ELK's sheet says its games run through partners and operators holding a licence in each market, so choose a Pirots 2 casino whose licence you can verify yourself. Then confirm the RTP in Rules and see whether X-iter appears.
